Rogers Named Operations Manager for Bradbury Machinery (Shanghai)

Rogers brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to his new position. He has been with the Group for 12 years and has served in many capacities, including European Sales Manager with responsibilities in India and Middle East Sales Manager. His responsibilities in his new appointment will include all facets of the business, with special focus on ensuring that the finished machines and automated lines produced by BMS fulfill customer production objectives and standards.

The Bradbury Co., Inc. Hires Rick McVey

McVey, a 36-year industry veteran, has extensive experience within the metal-forming, rainwater goods industry. Previously employed with Grover Machine Company in St. Louis, MO, he served six years as Sales Manager and five years as General Manager. His expertise with rainwater goods will support his new role at Bradbury as he assists customers with their production goals, product selections, and service-related needs.

Bradbury Adds Plant Space

May 6, 2011 - Moundridge, KS

Bradbury has announced that work is in progress to expand its factory in Moundridge, Kansas. Along with an increase in floor space, the company will also increase its lifting capacity by adding new 20-ton and 30-ton cranes. A spokesperson noted, “The expansion is designed to give us room and lifting capacity to keep pace with continued growth as we expand our heavy-gauge roll forming and coil processing equipment lines. The building project will also allow us to improve the flow of work in Plant 3 at our Moundridge facility and will add one-third more assembly space and double the weld bay.” Construction is expected to be completed during summer 2011.

Roll Tooling Output Increased

To meet increased production demands, the Bradbury Co., Inc. has added machining capacity at its factory in Moundridge, Kansas. The company recently purchased three new CNC lathes. Ryan Durst, Director of Sales and Marketing, explained that the new lathes will add to Bradbury’s capacity for machining the sets of tooling it produces for use in its extensive lines of roll forming equipment.

Plasma Torch Boosts Weld Capacity

Bradbury has installed a new four-head CNC plasma torch at its manufacturing facility in Moundridge, Kansas. A company spokesperson announced, “Three years ago, we internalized all welding operations in Moundridge. Adding this new four-head plasma torch gives us added welding capacity so that we can continue to meet the growing demand for our product lines.

The Bradbury Group Announces the Acquisition of the Intellectual Property and Assets of Hilleng International and Die-Craft

MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS, USA and BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA – The Bradbury Co., Inc., acting through its subsidiary, Bradbury Group Australia, Pty Ltd, is pleased to announce its further expansion into the southern hemisphere. The new company has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets and intellectual property of Hilleng International and Die-Craft. The deal is expected to close in the near future.
