Bradbury has announced that work is in progress to expand its factory in Moundridge, Kansas. Along with an increase in floor space, the company will also increase its lifting capacity by adding new 20-ton and 30-ton cranes. A spokesperson noted, “The expansion is designed to give us room and lifting capacity to keep pace with continued growth as we expand our heavy-gauge roll forming and coil processing equipment lines. The building project will also allow us to improve the flow of work in Plant 3 at our Moundridge facility and will add one-third more assembly space and double the weld bay.” Construction is expected to be completed during summer 2011. Roll Tooling Output IncreasedMay 3, 2011 - Moundridge, KS To meet increased production demands, the Bradbury Co., Inc. has added machining capacity at its factory in Moundridge, Kansas. The company recently purchased three new CNC lathes. Ryan Durst, Director of Sales and Marketing, explained that the new lathes will add to Bradbury’s capacity for machining the sets of tooling it produces for use in its extensive lines of roll forming equipment. Bradbury has installed a new four-head CNC plasma torch at its manufacturing facility in Moundridge, Kansas. A company spokesperson announced, “Three years ago, we internalized all welding operations in Moundridge. Adding this new four-head plasma torch gives us added welding capacity so that we can continue to meet the growing demand for our product lines.
