They are most often used in applications where only the edges of a wide panel are being rollformed. They consist of a base chassis fitted with hardened tapered locating pins for self-alignment of tooling raft sections. Replaceable tooling rafts, or modules, are outfitted with complete tool sets for producing a specific profile. The chassis is equipped with all components needed to run the tooling rafts. Drives have double or multiple quick-connect input shafts. |
