The discontinuous press for flat panels typically has hydraulic closure and motorized loading plates. Foam injection can be done at different points along the length of the panel or with a pouring head fixed on the entrance of the loading plates where the metal skins enter.

Discontinuous presses can have varying degrees of curvature and automatic or manual closing, dependent upon your preference.

The forming plates heat with hot water. The foam injection is made with a fixed mixing head in a closed mold. For lines featuring multiple presses connected to the same foaming machine, it is possible to select the press in action from the general operator desktop by pneumatically driven valves.
